نشرت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، اليوم الإثنين 06 مارس 2017، تقريرا حمل عنوان “محاربة المخدرات والمواد الكيماوية”، مبرزة فيه حجم انتشار المخدرات في بلدان العالم وعائداتها المالية.
وكشف التقرير في إحدى خلاصاته أن المغرب يعد أول مصدر حول العالم للحشيش بحسب معطيات استقاها التقرير من مكتب الأمم المتحدة ضد المخدرات والجريمة ما بين الفترة 2015-2016.
وينتج المغرب حسب التقرير الامريكي 700 طن بقيمة تقدر بـ23 مليار دولار أي كما ستشكل 23 في المئة من الناتج الداخلي الخام للمغرب.
وتحول المغرب بحسب التقرير إلى بلد لعبور المخدرات إلى أوروبا والقادمة من بلدان أمريكا اللاتينية، ويظهر ذلك من خلال الاعتقالات اليومية التي تقوم بها السلطات المغربية في مطار محمد الخامس الدولي بالدار البيضاء.
