أعلن إدريس لشكر، الكاتب الأول لحزب الاتحاد الاشتراكي، أن حزبه سيعمل على تيسير مهمة الأستاذ عبد الإله ابن كيران، رئيس الحكومة المكلف، لإتمام مهمته لتشكيل الحكومة الجديدة، مؤكدا أن حزب الاتحاد الاشتراكي ينتظر عرض رئيس الحكومة بعد انتهاء المشاورات واتضاح الصورة بشكل عام.
وأضاف لشكر، في تصريح أدلى به للصحافة عقب اللقاء الذي جمعه بابن كيران، في إطار مشاورات تشكيل الحكومة الجديدة، مساء اليوم الثلاثاء، بالمقر المركزي للحزب بالرباط، أن الأساسي في هذه المرحلة هو تمكين رئيس الحكومة من القيام بمهمته، مشددا على أن حزب الإتحاد الإشتراكي استجاب للدعوة التي وجهها له حزب العدالة والتنمية، ولم يكن له أي تحفظ على هذه الدعوة.
يذكر أن هذا اللقاء حضره رئيس المجلس الوطني لحزب العدالة والتنمية، سعد الدين العثماني، كما حضره الحبيب المالكي، رئيس اللجنة الإدارية المركزية لحزب الاتحاد الإشتراكي.
